What is Ethical Investing?

Ethical investing is a strategy where an investor chooses investments based on a personal ethical code (moral, environmental, social or religious). Ethical investments aim to have a positive impact on the world, typically social and/or environmental, as well as generating a financial return. Ethical investing gives an individual the power to allocate capital towards companies whose practices and values align with their personal beliefs, and applying one’s ethical principles as a primary filter for investment decisions.
